Jekyll Island’s abundance of unspoiled natural beauty – from its richly preserved maritime forests to its pristine dune systems to its 10 miles of tidal beaches
There is plenty of opportunity to sunbathe, swim, search for shells, fish, jog or bike along Jekyll Island's ten miles of beachfront.
Bike riders and joggers can venture through 23 miles of Jekyll Island's maritime forest trails where salt marshes, driftwood beaches, birds and other creatures of nature await. Guided nature tours depart from the Clam Creek Picnic Area on the island's north end, across from the campground.
The historic district offers small shops, carriage rides and tours of historic millionaires' homes.
